鈥淟ies Gales and Mermaid Tales鈥︹ is the story of pirates and sailors stuck in a magical island inhabited by Calypso, the Greek Goddess famous for trapping Odysseus in the Odyssey. She does the same in a pub on a mystical island. She stipulates that the sailors that entertain her best with exciting stories of the sea get to go free.

Those attending are encouraged to attend dressed like a pirate for a nightly costume contest. Following the show the winners will be announced and receive a little treasure from the Loop, a swashbucklin鈥 lesson with 鈥淐apn鈥 Mark鈥 usin鈥 cutlasses and yarrs, and pirate talkin鈥 lessons from August Roy, the show鈥檚 pirate interpreter and dialect designer.
